Lions and tigers and bears, Oh My! The sixth annual Children’s Humanities Festival has grown to become one of the country’s leading cultural festivals for young people. An outstanding roster of writers, illustrators, storytellers, musicians, and performers came to Chicago in the fall of 2005 to explore the topic of Home and Away, entertaining and educating as part of the Children’s Humanities Festival, from October 29 through November 13, 2005. Programs spanned two weekends, and encompassed a broad variety of disciplines, including film animation, music, theater, storytelling, art and illustration, workshops, and much more. Best of all, teachers and students are admitted free! |
