Classics in Context - Letters from an American Farmer 05/06/2006 There is still space available for our discussion of J. Hector St. John de Crevecoeur’s Letters from an American Farmer on May 6 at the Kaplan Center for the Humanities at Northwestern University in Evanston. The ongoing Classics in Context colloquia bring new life to widely taught literary classics, offering high school teachers the opportunity to discuss various aspects of a text with renowned humanities scholars from local universities. Texts are chosen for their potential to fit the annual CHF Festival theme. Complimentary continental breakfast and lunch are provided.
