Taylor Branch - At Canaan's Edge 02/08/2006  We live in a world remade by Martin Luther King, Jr. So says Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Taylor Branch, author of the monumental and definitive Civil Rights-era history America in the King Years, 1954-1968. He will discuss the work’s third and final volume At Canaan’s Edge: 1965-1968 on February 8 during a luncheon program. Branch will be interviewed by Laura Washington, Chicago Sun-Times columnist and Ida B. Wells-Barnett Professor and fellow, DePaul Humanities Center.
