Chicago Humanities Festival: Teacher Programs

Education initiatives for teachers are focused around the Festival theme, allowing educators to explore the questions a Festival raises for a full school year. Teachers can earn Continuing Professional Development Units (CPDUs) toward certificate renewal by participating in CHF education events and by attending select programs in the Festival itself. Classics in Context The Classics in Context colloquia focus on classics, offering teachers the opportunity to discuss various aspects of a text with scholars.
Summer Institute for Teachers Two day institute linking American popular culture and the humanities.
Teacher Workshops On occasion, the CHF produces one to three-day teacher workshops on subjects ranging from Broadway to economics.
