Lawrence 'Ren' Weschler Joins CHF! 01/19/2006  Dear Friend of the Festival,As a valued member of the Chicago Humanities Festival (CHF) community, you are among the first to know that Lawrence “Ren” Weschler has been selected as the Festival’s first Artistic Director. Ren is a noted author of 12 books and his experience includes 20 years as a staff writer for The New Yorker magazine. He is presently the director of the New York Institute for the Humanities at New York University (NYU).
