Michelle Paver-Wolf Brother The Chicago Children’s Humanities Festival and Brookfield Zoo are proud to partner in presenting a one-day-only event for wolf lovers and book readers from eight to 80. Families are invited to go on a special tour of Brookfield’s newest live animal exhibit, the Regenstein Wolf Woods. Then, British author Michelle Paver reads from her amazing new young adult novel Wolf Brother, the first of her projected six-book series The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness which makes its U.S. debut in February.

This exciting two-part exploration into the world of wolves takes place Saturday, March 19, at Brookfield Zoo, First Ave. and 31st St., Brookfield, IL. The Regenstein Wolf Woods tour begins at 3:30 p.m., followed by the reading by Michelle Paver at 5:00 p.m. Book sales and signing follow the reading. This combined event is FREE, but reservations are required. Capacity is limited to the first 70 people who sign up, so reservations will be taken on a first come, first served basis. Parking is $8.
