Festival Program
This performance takes a look at the troubling effect of war on veterans and their families through a three-part dramatic presentation of poetry, song, and myth. Jamie O’Reilly, Michael Smith, and John Starrs (as "Sweeney") perform new compositions by Smith, traditional Irish music, and the autobiographical poetry of celebrated Irish-American author Patricia Monaghan.
Presented in partnership with the DePaul University Humanities Center.
