Festival Program
During the Iran-Iraq war, an Iranian-Kurd musician hears that his wife has deserted him for his best friend. He cons his adult sons into helping him search for her. Losing nearly all they possess to bandits, they follow his wife’s trail into the Iraqi/Kurd refugee camps on the Iranian side of the border. Directed by Bahman Ghobadi, Iraq, 2002, 35mm, 103 mins. In Kurdish with English subtitles.
