Howard Fishman
|
Festival Program
Called "affecting and haunting" by The New Yorker, the singer and guitarist with a cult following defies easy categorization. Embracing various strains of American music—from New Orleans jazz and pop to gospel and roots punk—Fishman’s performances are alternately exuberantly explosive and intensely intimate, often in the space of a single song. With his full band in tow, Fishman performs material from his new CD "Look at All This!" along with excerpts from "we are destroyed," his oratorio on the Donner Party tragedy.
